New annoyance: Thank you, state budget cuts. I might not have a freaking job at school, because they can't afford to hire any more undergraduates for the teaching position I've been counting on. However, if anymore money comes in or someone doesn't show up, I'm 'first on the list.' Stupid Kansas.

I meant crap, but I thought the typo was funny.

Good news/bad news: I am going to London for sure on the 18th. I'm flying out of Salzburg 'cuz I got one of the 2 euro tickets from there... Imagine, a one way ticket to London for about 30 bucks! Europe is crazy. I don't know if I'll make it to Prague, unforutnately, but I am going to spend a few days in Salzburg before I fly out. And when I come back, Anna and I are going to Freiburg and probably the Bodensee to chill. I think it's called Lake Constance in English. Anyhoo, I haven't bought my return ticket from London yet because I wasn't sure where i wanted to return to! Anna and I are discussing it right now.

My family is currently en route (we had a discussion at lunch about the pronunciation of that expression) to America. That's so crazy! But in about a month, I too will be making the journey. How I'm going to get all my crack there is beyond me.

heh, i misspelled Prague in my last post because i was trying to give it the german spelling (i.e. Prag). I am silly.

I'm trying to buy a ticket to London and having little luck. That's okay. Calm down, Becky. I called Simon last night, though, and he told me "Come whenever you like, stay as long as you like." What a nice kid.

I said goodbye to my family... I hope they're all right in Munich. They have so much glassware! And, I love Tony. He'd been on vacation in Greece the whole time my family was here, but he was finally at the bar last night, and he was funny, and he gave my brothers some Guinness glasses. I think everyone had a wonderful time. I am tired, and freaking out because I have exams next week, and the paper thing going on.

Back to the flight search... Hmm, where else shall I go.... Hehehehe!

Oh, buddy. It's been a funfilled weekend.

My family is leaving tomorrow. I'm sad to see them go, but DAMN, I need to get some work done. I have a huge freakin' paper to write!

I got my replacement passport yesterday, despite the consulate lady's doubts that they would give me one. AND it's not even a crappy one year one. It's good for the whole 10 years. AND... this is the best part.... it says I'm a diplomat. It is so brilliant. On the last page, it says some crap, like "This is a replacement for a stolen passport" and "The bearer is abroad on a diplomatic mission for the US government." Heh. It's so secret, I don't even know what it is.

Good news to that: I can travel again! I'm so excited. I'm going to Prage, and London, and and and... Now I just have to do some planning. And e-mail Simon.
